DRESS CODE: COCKTAIL… what to wear?
This week is all about cocktail outfits, what to wear and how to wear them.
Yesterday, we showcased a beautiful leather outfit. Today, I want to give you a totally different option because we all know every woman is unique in style and personality. When it’s time to get ready please remember to always use pieces that make you look good, feel good and most importantly feel confident.
My friend Jenny, selected for the Mad Hatters Luncheon a relaxed silk dress. The wine color is the trend for the fall season. This dress was accessorized with a thin and delicate long necklace which allowed the rockstud shoes to be the focal point of the look.
TIP 1: Always select one piece to be the protagonist of your outfit and use the rest to complement. You definitely want to avoid your clothes competing with each other.
TIP 2: Tunic dresses are the perfect choice for those who like to avoid fitted outfits, they also help you to hide the muffin tops 🙂
Jenny is wearing:
- Revolve dress (similar)
- Tacori Necklace from J.R. Dunn (similar)
- Valentino Sandals from Neiman Marcus
